EBARA CORPORATION: certified as 4.5 Stars in the Fourth Nikkei SDGs Management Survey

We are happy to share that EBARA Corporation was awarded 4.5 stars in the Fourth Nikkei SDGs Management Survey announced by Nihon Keizai Shimbun on November 17, 2022.

The Nikkei SDGs Management Survey has been conducted by Nihon Keizai Shimbun Inc. since 2019. It defines SDGs management as an initiative that contributes to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their business and leads to increased corporate value. Each of these initiatives is evaluated on a five-star basis based on the four perspectives; SDGs strategy/economic value, social value, environmental value, and governance.

In the previous year, EBARA received the highest ranking “S++” in the governance category.The transparency, which clarifies management responsibilities, as well as the effectiveness of corporate governance have been evaluated. In addition, we achieved”S”, which is the top grade, in terms of SDGs strategy/economic value and social value respectively.

In order to contribute to creating a sustainable society, we will grow our business and further enhance our corporate management so that we can provide value to our employees, business partners, investors, shareholders, and all other stakeholders.
